The Low Back Park Bench design takes advantage of the curved surface of the stave. I follow the simple rules of what is comfortable and then measure, cut, shape, sand, varnish and attach the staves to a redwood frame. Using the curve of the stave to follow the lines of the human body, I can create hardwood chairs and benches that are remarkably comfortable to sit on.
